Playing Hard
Here are some pictures of the kids hard at play -- taken before we left on our month-long vacation to the mid-west. I'll update our blog with a recap of our trip when we return to Ft. Collins.
July 4th
Happy Fourth of July! Here are the three kiddos in their 4th of July outifits.....
We invited our neighbor, Kathy, over for a picnic on the 4th. We didn't make it to the fireworks -- all three kiddos were in bed by 8:30. Maybe next year....?
I made the traditional flag cake for the 4th but we were too full to eat it after eating the red, white and blue jello salad. So we had it the next day. The kids wanted me to put a candle in it and sing happy birthday to the USA. It was fun!

Happy Birthday USA!
A froggy birthday
July 10, 2007
Jacob and Hannah chose the theme for Luke's birthday. They thought Luke would like a froggy birthday party. So I went on-line and found this idea for a froggy cake and it turned out pretty good. I used strawberries for the frog's tongue. Luke had fun eating one of the frog's eyes.

Luke's first word was "ball". He started saying it a few days before his birthday so we decided to get him his own ball.
A neighbor found out we were having a froggy-themed birthday party and dropped this little frog suit over for him to wear at the party. It was too hot to wear for the entire party, but we dressed him up and took his picture. Isn't it cute?
