Hannah has been into Cinderella lately -- she checked out several Cinderella books from the library last week, watched the movie on Saturday (with her brothers) and pulled out the Cinderella dress from the dress-up box (which I found at the goodwill in CT). She says she is going to be Cinderella for Halloween -- she's got plans.
After dressing up in her Cinderella dress, she pulled out the tuxedo and asked Luke to wear it (we have the tuxedo from when Jacob was the ring bearer for Aunt Carrie and Uncle Frank's wedding - it has become part of our dress-up box) so they could dance together at the ball. Luke warmed up to the idea eventually - after dressing up as Superman and Tigger and being asked probably close to 100 times by Hannah if he would dress up and dance with her. Persistence is not something she needs to learn. ;-) Luke calls his outfit "church". They were very charming.
(Notice Hannah's new hair cut -- I was giving Luke a haircut on Friday and she wanted one too -- mostly because she knew that there would be a treat following her haircut (she's a sucker for chocolate like me). When I started to cut her hair she said she wanted it short -- so this is what we ended up with -- pretty cute! And much easier to comb in the morning. But as I was going back and uploading photos of the kids tonight I saw some pictures of Hannah's long hair -- and was a little sad not to be able to put it in pigtails and braids.)
